 We are lovers & makers sharing our passion for wood, metal and nature.

We have stepped out of the rat race and reduced our day jobs.  We are slowing down and learning to concentrate on what really matters to us. 

We believe this will bring more joy and love to our lives as well as to every person we meet along the way. 

You can often find us together or with friends on our front door step sipping our drink, discussing the ups and downs and the beauty of life.

Our vision is to spread beauty and happiness, one piece at a time

This shop is the start of the new, slow life we imagine for ourselves.

“Stop dreaming and start doing” we remind ourselves.

It´s the small things, and the small steps.

Unsere Geschichte

Nicht nur gehen wir unseren Lebensweg zusammen, sondern wir teilen auch unsere Leidenschaft für Holz, Metall und Natur.

Wir haben uns bewusst beruflich reduziert um  zumindest ein wenig dem täglichen Stress zu entkommen. 

Die gewonnene Zeit investieren wir lieber in das was uns wichtig ist, nämlich Kreativität, Familie und Freundschaften. 

Verlangsamen, “simplify your life”, Zeit nehmen für die schönen Dinge- auch das ist uns Wichtig.

Unser Traum von “slow living” beginnt mit diesem Shop. 

“Mehr Tun statt Träumen” ist unser Gedanke.

Es sind die kleinen Schritte, die zu großen Veränderungen führen.

what´s behind our logo?

When we discussed the design of a logo we were very clear that we wanted it to be very straightforward and simple.  Although we like beautiful names such as "Whispers of Life", or "Hope Garden Jewellery" we felt it would not represent what we are aiming for. 
What we agreed on from the start was our catch phrase: "inspired by nature". And so, what better Name to use than Eve,to represent the idea of Mother Nature. 

Our names  are actually Evelien and Uwe so all we needed to do is tweak it a little.

The combination of both our names turned out exactly as we wanted: clear and simple.

Als wir über das Design eines Logos diskutierten, war uns klar, dass es sehr einfach und unkompliziert sein soll. 
Obwohl wir schöne Namen wie "Whispers of Life" oder "Hope Garden Jewellery" mögen, hatten wir das Gefühl, dass dies nicht das darstellt, was wir anstreben.
Von Anfang an waren wir uns einig: "Inspiriert von der Natur" soll unser Markenzeichen sein. Und so gibt es keinen besseren Namen als Eva, um die Idee von Mutter Natur darzustellen.

Unsere Namen sind eigentlich Evelien und Uwe, also mussten wir es nur ein wenig optimieren.

Die Kombination unserer beiden Namen fiel genau so aus, wie wir es wollten: klar und einfach.

the evolution of eve & uve

For years, we have been creating just for ourselves, and were surprised by the overwhelming reactions of family and friends. Slowly but surent, we found ourselves creating and designing for family and friends of friends, and more and more people encouraged us to produce for a wider audience, and maybe even set up a business. 

• May 2018 : creation of our logo
• November 2018: We were offered an opportunity to apply for a  chalet on  the Christmas market in our local town, Grevenmacher, Luxembourg and quickly gathered and published a few pictures on Instagram so we could apply and we were thrilled to have been accepted. This was the start of our Instagram page. 
• December 2018: The 2 days were an overwhelming success, bearing in mind it was our first "public" appearance. Some products were sold out on the first day.
• Throughout 2019 we were present on a few more markets in local villages and towns, and the year ended with yet another fabulous Christmas market in Grevenmacher, Luxembourg.
• September 2020: we hired the help of a  graphic designer to help boost our digital presence.
• October 2020: launch of our website and online shop.

Am Anfang kreierten wir nur für uns selbst und waren überrascht von den überwältigenden Reaktionen von Familie und Freunden. Langsam kreierten wir auch mehr und mehr für Bekannte und deren Freunde. Immer mehr Menschen haben uns ermutigt, für ein breiteres Publikum zu produzieren und sich vielleicht selbständig zu machen.

• Mai 2018: Erstellung unseres Logos
• November 2018:  Kurzfristig wurden wir gebeten uns  für den Weihnachtsmarkt in Grevenmacher, Luxemburg zu bewerben. Schnell haben wir ein paar schöne Fotos  auf Instagram veröffentlicht  und das war der Start unserer Instagram Seite.
• Dezember 2018 : Erster "öffentlicher" Auftritt auf dem Weihnachtsmarkt in Grevenmacher, Luxemburg. Die 2 Tage waren ein großer Erfolg. Am ersten Tag waren schon einige Produkte ausverkauft.
• 2019: Während des gesamten Jahres 2019 waren wir auf einigen weiteren lokalen Märkten in  Dörfern und Städten präsent. Das Jahr endete mit einem weiteren fabelhaften Weihnachtsmarkt in Grevenmacher.
• September 2020: Wir haben die Hilfe einer Grafikdesignerin in Anspruch genommen um unsere Internetpräsenz  zu verbessern.
• Oktober 2020: Start unserer Website und unseres Online-Shops
